ONCOR, the largest energy delivery company in Texas, relies upon a massive warehousing/logistics operation to keep the lights on. To improve operational performance, the company decided to consolidate its three Dallas-Fort Worth sites into a single new location in Dallas. This presentation will share insights into the facility and site planning phase of the project, covering how to plan with incomplete inventory data, approaches to consolidating different processes (transmission, distribution, and returns) into one location, and equipment selection.
