One of the biggest challenges in today’s manufacturing is interfacing/networking all different devices and machines from different brands in the shopfloor. The goal is to create a real-time communication/data exchange across manufacturing shopfloor (vertical) and then gather the data in a secure and fast manner from the OT to the IT (horizontal). Data allows for increase in quality, time and reduction of cost.
